THE DREAM BATTLE

The Dream Battle

Is there something you ever wanted really bad in life, a dream you want to pursue, a goal or mission dear to your heart but actually scared to pursue it or scared of fame or even make it? It's a certain type of fear, It's crippling it's a battle of discipline and tenacity and one of them will win and will produce tangible results.

But it's just a fear of entering a battle your going to loose  and it's all in your mind. It's like you are your worst enemy. You know you can make it, you know you have the skills but the dream battle starts to dethrone your ambition.

It's like you know  you got it inside of you, you have this feeling that your going to make it no matter what. Then you start daydreaming and summons the fear the mere thought of it actually happening, being in the moment when your there, your dreams are coming true, the moment of truth, where you have to show your skills produce and manifest dreams into a tangible asset scares you and doubt overtakes you and you say "who am I kidding I'll never be that" yes the old easy way out type of thinking.

This! this moment of possible failure, this moment of doubt that scared you to death is your battle the battle that you run from. Failure, is the battle, doubt is it's cousin and they are dream snatchers.

This is the moment when you have to produce, make it happen, shoot that film, make that track, write that book, pitch that idea, make that car, take that photo , buy that property, fly that plane, make that liquor,  ride that horse, take that promotion, make that tv show, and ride that goddam bike to China, (breath) but instead you freeze up in doubt and in fear of failure.

This is the " battle you must engage in and win to achieve your dreams. But of course, when you're  alone watching TV or out and about you tend to see your peers surpassing you, they are making major moves towards their dreams, their making sacrifices and you, you stay moldy, stale and stagnant like a old hotdog bun in the cupboard for ten years.

Suddenly you get a gut check feeling like "my dreams are slipping away" and you start to say to yourself " I better start producing" you get motivated for a quick, fast,  hard New York second and you see the "battle" of believing in yourself, making the sacrifices, and pushing forward with great and thunderous tenacity, with all ideas from every angle and make something happen!!! But sadly you deflate and come back down to your 99cent,sad,pathetic,boring,uneventful, no nada reality.

The problem is really simple, the  reality you set for your self is not aligned with your dreams reality. Your thinking is very low, very complacent it's not daring and fearful, you must start to think BIG!!! Your reality is not in the "wow" factor it's just a convenient reality, boring, ordinary, low hanging fruit reality. It's a 99 cent reality just like everyone else who has no ambition and wants to barley exist to collect a check and make no significant contribution to the mankind.

The reality for your dreams should be and are usually high, they take guts, grit, and strong blazing intestinal fortitude to achieve them.

Caution ! if there's  no passion for you dreams then puhhhhllleaaase spit it out and stomp on it like a chewed up stale piece of gum stuck on a stingy sidewalk of strip bar.  Passion is one of the major keys along with talent of course in making your dreams a reality. If it is your passion and you believe you can do it then go for it 150 percent.  If you don't have any passion for your beliefs, goals or dreams and I mean the type of passion that leads you into battle,  that leads you into overcoming yourself and your own self destructive doubtful demons then you will not make it and should reconsider staying in your 99cent dream of reality and merely exist.

Once you fight the "battle" and make your dreams, goals, mission first priority then you'll eventually win the war. Once you have entered battle and win then you finally met it head on and made your dream a tangible reality. On the other hand if you enter the battle and come out defeated it's ok if you don't quit you'll eventually make it. Being the worst sometimes gets just as much publicity as being the best in some cases. Now staying positive, if you win then  you was thinking BIG and your dreams are more then reality, it's destiny.

Never give up on your dreams!!! you must love the chase, it's worth chasing it gives you a purpose to leave a legacy to make a mark to be an advocate of dreamers. I'm going to leave this consolidation. " If it's written in the book of life then it will happen".
