Are you a FRIEND of me or a FRENEMY?

Ok!!!!! I took some time off to write a few screenplays and I actually was in Los Angeles pitching them for quite a long time. I am back on my weekly blog so here it is. This rant is really stemming from my recent endeavors of pursuing my screenwriting and directing dreams. Ever had or have a friend that act like they are your best friend but in reality they envy you and envy your progress, your dreams, and your good fortune? They acted like their supportive but they also want to ride on your coat tails as well. They the kind of person that will sabotage your goals or bring down your drive to make themselves  feel equal to you or make them feel at ease with their own short comings. Well you’re not alone, when I told people that I was moving to Los Angeles they acted like they was excited for me but they also wished me bad luck. I would see their actions and see their true stripes when they ask me how things are going, hoping to hear bad news, they will ask “hey still have your Mercedes Benz “ hoping it got repossessed  or something. When I tell them of all the splendid things happening in my professional career they seem to find a fault in it or they seem to be little them.  I call theses poisonous people “frenemy” they are friends that are actually enemies. I had a few of these people I had to block from my face book because they was following me and hating, talking hatred and envious verbiage and well just being fake. Not only did I erase them from my FB and other social media accounts but I also stop telling them of anything positive or great happening to me. I make them think I’m broke and hopelessly depress and not going anywhere with my professional goals. It makes then feels so good about themselves and well l it keeps them closer to you. Yes you’re going to have to make them your closet friends “keep your enemies closest” to make sure you got the upper hand in the Jedi mind manipulation. It’s sad that we have these people in our lives and its sad that they cannot be real and have a life and ambition as big as yours.  Please get rid of these friends and eradicate them from your life once you do this you’ll free up the malicious and unfortunately envious sprits that hold your success down. Never second guess yourself always follow your dreams. Remember make a inventory of who’s a real friend of yours or who’s a frenemy!
